Colorganic® Cotton
Our Tierra tees are undyed and are made from varieties of cotton that grow naturally in shades of brown and green. Starting with heritage varieties that were no longer in agricultural production, plant breeder Sally Fox spent decades breeding cultivars of millable colored cotton. Using Colorganic cotton rather than dyes has numerous benefits—drastically reduced water usage, absence of toxic dyes and related chemicals, as well as the promotion of biodiversity.
