Donegal Tweed

Donegal tweed dates to the 19th century and is characterized by flecks of contrasting fiber that have been delicately spun into a heathered wool yarn. The yarn used in our pieces has the distinction of being the only Donegal tweed yarn manufactured in County Donegal, Ireland. Donegal Yarns cards, spins and dyes all of their products in their facility in Kilcar, Ireland
